Marnie - spent a year in hospital

Sadly Marnie had to have part of her left leg amputated to stop the tumour from spreading. Now 14, Marnie has returned to high school. Despite missing most of year 7, she is doing really well, achieving marks near the top of her class in some subjects. Her ambition when she finishes school is to be an archaeologist, a fulfilment of her love of fantasy fiction.
A message to blood donors from Marnies mum, Janet: To all those generous people who do not know Marnie, but who helped save her life thank you. Your generosity was truly lifesaving.
